conclusion:
jumping genres a lot. love the basslines!! the punk stuff is very DK inspirated.
it's so diverse that for me listening through it for the first time, it doesn't feel like one album. this might change though.
bonus songs sound moslty like joke songs.

much better than what i feared from the 30 second snippets and i'm positive that i'm gonna love this album!
have a couple of favorites already but i bet i'll get some more after listening through the songs a couple more times.

I loved all of it, and the intro didn't even bother me. Every featured artist was good too.

This album is soooooooo fucking amazing. This album shits in Insomnias open mouth in my opinion (still dig Insomnia though).

Production quality is off the charts and there is no filler like I thought there would be on an album with such a high song count.

Jared is rapping and singing again, yes that's right...truly singing. Lyrics are dope, MUSIC IS DOPE. I really dig Jah's wifes voice and it never got annoying like it did in Mirrorballin', just plain sexy and catchy like Amerikan Beauty!

I never thought I'd say this after a first listen but I think this album could very well be better than B2BX and a I fucking loooove B2BX. This joint is just so full of great shit! I'm so proud of these guys! FUCK!

Only complaint I think it's polluted with a few too many samples. This album just drips with talent dudes.

S/T, Broke, Blackout, OIA, B2BX were so different from one another and I can happily say that this album made that leap I didn't see on Insomnia. I'm hearing shit on this album that's making me think....wtf is this (hed)??? I thought I'd get to whine about some songs I didn't dig but I think there's only one which I shrugged off and that's Tow the Line and Don't Fuck With Us but I'm sure they'll grow. How in fuck can they make a 29 song album that kicks total ass all the way through? I was so cynical about N.W.O. but I've thrown all preconceptions out the window.

In my opinion The Truth EP is a poor indication of how miraculous varied and beautiful this album truly is (still dig Truth EP). I hope you guys dig it as much as I did. Now I'm going back for another listen.

way better than insomnia, i like the more hip hop vibe they have on this cd, jah has a good flow and they mix everything pretty good, i wasn't let than down, the 30 second samples had me a lil worried, but the cd pulled through, there are like two songs that i really didn't like

This album compares to Broke and S/T. I think in some ways its even better.

It's great, especially Family, Everything All The Time, Stepping Stone, Bucky Lasek and Stay Ready.

Some of the stuff reminds me of OIA, not just because Stepping Stone has the chorus from the demo.

I wouldn't say they've gone back to the old days but they have certainly experimented. They've made some ballsy songs. I had to check my ipod a few times to make sure that what I was listening to was (hed) pe at certain points. I don't think you'll be disappointed. I thought I would be, but I was truly blown away by this bad boy. Truly an awesome album!!!!!!!!!!! I listened to the samples after listening to the whole allbum and the samples simply don't do this CD justice.

So far I am really enjoying the album...after the first listen through I have rated each song out of 5...the intros automatically get a 3.

On average, the rating for each track is a 5, with a handful of 4s. I will say the chick is annoying sometimes, except on "Work On This," she sounds hot on that tracks, but she pretty much ruins the track "Girlfriend."

Overall this is a nice addition to their discography!

I agree with Madmadman. Even though I found her to be fucking annoying in Mirrorballin' I think it suits in Girlfriend. In fact I think it suits in all of the songs. I love her verse in Girlfriend and found it to be sweet. I love Stepping Stone!!!!!

I know I was one of the people who complained about her especially in Girlfriend, but after a few listens to the song I totally agree with you I think that's the only song she's not annoying in, but every other song she is in is pretty annoying.

New World Intro 5/5

Interesting samples from Zeitgeist tackling the Illuminati and the New World Order. A perfect introduction for the album establishing the theme of most things to come. I really dig how the bass lines leak in before the samples are over.

Live or Die Free 3/5

Can't say much for the verses or the choice of vocals but a real catchy punk rock chorus makes this quite a strong song. This song is almost an intro in itself as well.

Bloodfire 4/5

This song is something for the pit and the Martin Luther King samples are simply sublime as Jaxons riffs loom threateningly in the background nice and soft before booming through with a dramatic heavy metal conclusion. The guitars remind me of KoRn riffs and when Jared screams BLOOD FIIIIIYA it's just plain maniacal Cavalera mayhem. Truly a great heavy metal song! 'We've got some difficult days ahead'

Ordo AB Chao 3/5

Fat bass line, fast, hard hitting drums from Tiny, heavy guitars, sweet additonal melodica tunes (go Product!) and some sweet reggae. Nice song but the chorus reminds me of Suffa. Renegade is a far superior single. 3/5

Stay Ready 4.5/5

I can't help but nod my head to the verses. The sample is a little bit long and interferes with this song which is a shame. Still a nice choice of sample and goes well with the lyrics that precede it. The words come from the Disclosure Project which is footage of government officials admitting to extraterrestrial beings and flying saucers. Amazingly catchy chorus that reminds me of the Blackout days. Thank God the guests didn't piss me off this time. Nice effort. 'DON'T FUCK WITH US CAUSE WE DON'T GIVE A FUCK' is a bit boring and dumb but hey I loved OIA so I'm a hypocrite. 'Stay in form man, don't get caught in a coon cage.' Interesting that Jared chose to recycle this. Bit lame if you ask me. Still a great song.

Family 3.5/5

Once again a song where I simply can't help but nod my head to the verses. Chorus is a little bit silly but something fun to jump around in a circle pit to. Chorus reminds me of R.T.O.

Stepping Stone 5/5

One of the greatest songs on this album. Absolute classic! Sample is gold and relates to Jared and his government suspicion. This takes me back to OIA. Aaaaaah the days of OIA where it was funny to hear Jared rapping about rape. The music and rap is so flowing and the lyrics are just fucking hilarious. The chorus fucking owns. Man I have no complaints about this song. 'Now get off my dick stoopid, I don't owe you shit, I'm sick and tired of it. Can't trust anyone. Public school, Sunday school, even Sesame Street.' FUCKING FLAWLESS.

We've all heard this one. Beautiful chorus and fast paced verse. Not the biggest fan of his vocal squawk but hey? What can I say. A purely solid single, my favourite single since OIA era. Don't dig the 'what???' during 'this dog will turn around and bite you' as it reminds me of Fred Durst. But just being picky. Very well constructed...

Everything All the Time 5/5

Are you fucking serious? This song is just plain fucked up...I LOVE IT. Some little girl moaning, lightning crashes, demonic backwards speak, screaming, laughing, church like vocals and the most poisonous lyrics since Pac Bell. His wifes voice is sped up and I don't know why but it sounds so fucking exhausted and filthy making this song all the more sinister. I'm going to sound like a pussy but the chorus made me want to cry like a bitch. It's so simple yet catchy and make me real angry for being cynical about this album in the first place. 'Oily separated hair???' Who the fuck comes up with this. Not since Jonathan Davis sang about rape have I been so disturbed. I don't like how the end dips out and then dips back in for the Mortgage Crisis Intro but this song is simply undeniably amazing.

Nothing new here, any brother who has D.I.Y. Guys will have heard this. Just monotonous talk of the Mortgage Crisis. It's a good thing they shortened it down and put some bass lines over it because it could have become boring. A nice intro for Middle Class Blues/War on the Middle Class though.

Nothing terribly special but I love the fast paced verse, reminds me of s/t. 'If ya push me, I'ma push you right back' sounds so fucking evil and dope. Decent song.

Flesh and Blood 4/5

Was really concerned about this song. Brothers telling me that it sounded like the worst song amongst the samples. I fucking love it. The chorus is so fucking weird, reminds me of Serj having fun on the mic and that instrument in the background is just so fucking dope. I don't know what is. It's no melodica. What ever it is I love it. I love the dancy little punk aspect to this song. Sample is a little distracting but once again doesn't do anything to damage the song for me. Lyrics are a little poor but still this song is just so fucking wacked. I love it. Final sample is fucking cool and deep even if I do find it quite ridiculous. I mean Draconian races...just not my cup of tea and Product you put to many powers at the end...god damn. Being picky again.

This song is fucked up. It's like System of a Down with Pulp Fiction surf music...only of course it's (hed) pe. Once again this is an example of (hed) pe trying new shit. Something I've always loved about them is the fact that they attempt to do some wack shit often with some pretty amazing results. THE SKY IS FALLING! Amazing heavy metal bridge and nice solo from Jaxon. Wow! Nice sample at the end too.

Higher Ground 3.5/5

A catchy song for all the hip hop heads and something for the punk rock kids too. This songs just plain ole funky fun and Johnny Richter is a welcome guest for me...not sure about Daddy X though. Didn't dig his style. The chorus is just weird and unexpected, the 'Revolution, Revolution, Revolution' reminds me of Mr.Bungle...cool song...weird but cool.

Tienenmen Squared anyone. I don't know about this song. I feel like I've heard this all before...by this point I just want to skip back to Planet X. I still dig the guitar and I have a feeling this song may grow on me but for now...meh. The solo saves this song a little for me. Lyrics are a little poor. The weakest song on N.W.O. next to Don't Fuck With Us.

I hear Deftones leaking out of this song. I checked my ipod to assess whether this was (hed) pe. When I saw that it was I got goosebumps all over me, for real. What an experimental road for Planet Earth to take. Jared moans like Chino and the soft hypnotic drum beat helps this song to flow like water. Ok getting a little poetic now but yeah that's how I feel. The heavy metal part was so unexpected. FUCKING HELL THIS SONG FUCKING DESTROYS!

'Hey Ladies'...Is it just me or is that off of a Limp Bizkit song. That's the second time I've heard (hed) pe use a sample that Limp Bizkit have already used...could be wrong, don't bite my head off. I love this song, it's dirty and funky. Reminds me of Wind Me Up. Except I didn't like Wind Me Up anywhere near as much. His wife is just so perfect in this song. No Mirrorballin' bullshit. Just sounds plain dope to me! I know everyone digs Tech Nine but I couldn't dig the brother who rapped in this song...sorry dudes.

Shiiiiit. Pure gold right here. The guitar reminds me of Beware Do We Go. This song is just beautiful. Lyric content reminds me of Hangman and Ken2012. Old school! Chorus fucking rocks! Everything about this song is kick ass! Hate to sound like a broken record but once again wifey doesn't piss me off at all, she only helps to keep this song fucking rocking for me.

P.S. what's with the yapping dogs and the music from The Craft? Wack!

Another experimental song from (hed)...not too much in lyrical content here, just a bunch of lines being repeated over and over again. This song has a wacked out B52's vibe to it. I dig it. Is that Barack I hear in the sample??? Pretty cool song.

Ha this song is just gangsta! I don't mind the guests in this joint. Freaking sweet lyrics. 'Grab ya bong, get ya light, get ya papers, get ya pipe and roll a blunt and get high.' I usually wouldn't like something too gangsta from (hed) as I usually dig the punk, metal, reggae, hip hop shit more but this is just fucking cranking. I wish Jared had more of a say in this bad boy...Ah well.


Overall this album completely outdid my expectations! I'm hearing nice variety, experimentation that paid off and something that sounds distinctly (hed)...This album kills Insomnia! I'm still deciding if I dig it more than B2BX. Only time will tell. HED4LYFE

I reckon this (along with that Killing Spree song off the DIY Guys) is Product singing. I mentioned it on the other board but I think it was overlooked.

Might follow this up with a review.. we'll see how we go in about an hour.
