| yeah, they do not force you to listen about the Truth Movement, the lyrics can fit wider topics, and this is realy great! And i aggre on the point, that the hip hop thacks that were included in the album, could have been dropped completely Why make half-assed attempts at hip hop, even dirty as fuck, when you can replace them with decent punk metal ones? Or try, at least, to write lyrics we all know you are capable of. It just looks like he didn't even try... Other lyrics are OK, but i wouldn't call them great. They had a decent dirty hip hop song - crazy legs was very good | |

| Definitely agree that the lyrics are the weakest aspect of the album. There is absolutely nothing original, inventive, or creative about the lyrics at all on this album. Jahred has gotten to the point where he just recycles lyrics from song to song, and not even good ones, and it gets extremely repetitive, not only hearing things you just heard in previous songs, but on other albums several times already. He used to be such a good lyricist. I don't know what the fuck happened. They're lucky the songwriting is so tight this time around or this could've been a disaster. | |

| Yes but that happens to a lot of bands....look at Soulfly, Slayer...or to the bands, that have a few miles of playing and a few records for them.

| Agreed Geduliss. The lyrics (especially in self-titled) far outweigh the lyrical substance that is thrown about now.

| Also, Bucky Lasek - had a great rhyme, but was cut short and made a bonus song... then why not put greater rhymes on the instrumentals you like? I don't see the logic in this... hwy do they do that, when they clearly have the ability not to? | |

| Most lyrics are not great but I like them much more than on Insomnia and even a few tracks from NWO. It's good that they sound more universal, you don't neccessarily have to relate them tio the truth movement if you're not into it, might as well be about everyday life. There is a lot of energy in them, I mean positive energy, not just aggression. I also noticed a refernce to a Bob Marley song in Takeover "get up, stand up, don't give up the fight" which is really cool as I am a huge fan of Marley However, I have a question - do you guys notice any differences between the remixed and unmixed versions of the tracks? Because I don't see any, apart from the guests.

| There's only 2 remixes, and I dont see any either. On Takeover it seems as if its just the extra guests.
And on No More Secrets, Jahred gets more into the extra verse, and I notice the guitars in that remix part are added, but other than that, nothing.

| Yeah i agree jahred is a great lyrics-writer. I havent really read the lyrics on this album but previous albums have all been great i think. B2bx has some great lyrics! And they are always catchy and you learn them in notime! | |

I also noticed, it makes a really nice intro. And a good track as well, wish it was longer.

| But it's just the first week, there's a chance it'll get better. Wonder why there are no other hed albums on billboard charts. Or maybe I just can't find them...? http://www.billboard.com/#/album/hed-p-e/truth-rising/1445467edit: billboard website is crap, I get an error every time I want to see something!

| They marketed the shit out of NWO, plus the 3 different versions. Lots of people preordered and got all 3 (I know I did). | |
