LINKIN PARK

anyone here a fan of Linkin Park? what do you guys think of the new album?

I'm a huge fan of Linkin Park, pre Minutes To Midnight.

I wanted to like A Thousand Suns really bad, even after I heard The Catalyst (which I hated)
But...it's just horrible. I'm all for experimenting, and for creative freedom...but a complete overhaul is moronic, especially when it's in the weird direction they took.

Though I did like a few songs on it. Wretches and Kings and Blackout were really good.
I also kinda liked When They Come For Me and Waiting For The End.

I was a big fan of Hybrid Theory & Meteora, but I gotta say that Minutes To Midnight was VERY disappointing. I remember when that album came out, I listened to it and I was not expecting something so awful. Worst Album of 2007 in my opinion.

As for the new album, I listened to it last night and I thought it was just as bad as Minutes To Midnight.

Only songs worth a listen are "Blackout" & "Wretches and Kings."

WORST ALBUM OF 2010!

I like some stuff of Linkin Park but their music is too much comercial.
In a french shop, the best metal cd are : "Minutes to midnight", "Meteora" and "Hybrid Therory" haha

Seriously, the new record is bad but the stupid fans will enjoy it forsure.

I only like one song "One step Closer" or something like that.

My boyfirend likes Linkin Park and dislikes Hed PE and in my case it's just the opposite.
Like someone here wrote, they're too commercial and soft, I'm glad Hed didn't turn into something like that.
Also it's quite annoying that LP is so popular here in Poland and most albums are available while Hed in almost unknown, even though they're a lot better. But that's the cost of being "indie".

They need to go back to what they used to do. They are so hellbent on "breaking boundaries" and it's just not happening. I agree with the commercial/soft comment, though I think they've always been popular, but not always soft.

hybrid theory and meteora were amazing after that its all shit im not even bothering to download the new album cuz everything ive heard from them reccently sounds like shit

It's uncool to like Linking Park I lika one or two songs tough but nah. they aint shit compared to hed.

Shit I never like them...only good thing they"ve ever done was a collaboration with Jay-Z!

i liked the new album better than minutes to midnite. i enjoyed blackout and wretches and kings a lot too

I liked everything they did so far but this one really sucks monkeyballs!! What a weird piece of crap that cd is!

I liked hybrid theory meteora mins to midnight and there newer cd but I couldn't get into a thousand sun and reanimation..
