May Not Be On Much...

My grandfather died a little earlier today.
I'm taking it pretty hard, and this is the hardest I've ever cried.

He's lived with me and my family at our house since I was born, so we were really close.

I'm so sorry to hear that Kirby. Losing a loved one is extremely difficult.

Yesterday things got even worse.

My older sister had to go to the emergency room.
She had bloodclots in her lungs.

They said she seems to be doing fine though.

Sorry to hear that My thoughts are with you and your family too and I hope your sister is ok.

It's been a while since I've had someone close to me pass on but I remember it being the most emotionally draining experience. Hang in their Kirby, your Grampa is at peace now and I'm sure he would want the same for you in this life. Love life and those close to you unconditionally because a life of loosing those close to you has got to be easier than living a life alone.

Then we have another one in Alabama in February.


My mom's still really torn up over this. She's breaking down almost constantly.

My mom's doing a little better, but she's still terribly upset about it, which is understandable.

I try not to think about it. It's helped me find a new push in high school, because my grandfather was so proud that I was graduating this year, so I'm working twice as hard as I was. Upsets me a great deal that he can't be at the graduation ceremony. I hadn't thought about what it'd be like without him, until it happened, and it's a terrible feeling. But I still have to finish, at least for him.


My older sister is doing better, and hasn't been hurting at all since she got out of the hospital.


February 21st, we went out of state to Alabama for the second ceremony, and it was pretty hard to deal with. My grandfather's nephew, Mike, performed the Eulogy, and he had to keep stopping because he was crying. I started crying because they read one of the comments I had written about my grandfather, and how he was the nicest person I've ever met, and all that. It was especially hard, because everyone kept telling me that I act and look just like him.




Glad the ceremonies and things like that are over. Terribly depressing.

man i know what yer feeling right now , my grandpa died 2 weeks ago and it hit me in my face never thought i would be crying like that either but man i felt miserable ., but he lived in iran and i live in holland so it woz rlly hard for me to get there , i feel fucked up cuz i didnt go to his funeral . but man thats live thats the way things go man ... hope you find a way to accept it.i for sure cant do it yet
