OH FUCK! now i can't fucking waaaaaaaait... dude this album... if it is what you say it is, is the best hed album ever No, this is far from being the best (hed) album. And I'd also say that all the songs you've heard thus far are some of the strongest ones on the album. I hate when bands release the best songs off their album before it drops.

1. Broke 2. self titled 3. OIA 4. blackout 5. Insomnia/NWO 6. B2BX

| i've listened to the album on youtube It's all there i think it's better than Insomnia, but i'll have to listen to it for sime time more to make a final decision Some thing i like: melody! There are very catchy choruses on this album! Renegade blew my mind from the first seconds and i could not stop listening to that shit (on youtube ). Mainly there's little filler on this album, that's what i like. What i don't like... is the repetative topics and lame raps... sorry, but in like only 2 songs on this album i've liked the way Jah rapped. Don't know why I like raps like he did on Darky, Soitbe, and iv'e missed these here But, again, i've listened to it once on Youtube, so i'm not too ready to judge | |

| Nice poll. So I voted 4.5.
Actually I'd give it a 5 if they got rid of most of the intros, they're just annoying fillers imo. And I think an intro should be at the beginnig of the album not all over it.
But the songs are really cool and so is the overall impression.

Same. I think for a lot of people it's still riding on that 'new album wave'. It happens to me a lot. I know when an album is REALLY good when I keep coming back to listen to it months after it's been out. I haven't touched Insomnia, B2BX, or OIA on months, the latter two probably more than a year. I doubt the same thing will happen with NWO, because it's significantly better than those albums, but you get the point. But I'm still contstantly spinning the old shit. NWO is good, but not great. I voted 3/5.

| Yeah possibly. I voted a 4. I know for me personally I never get the 'new album wave' feeling. I work the opposite. Generally I think less of an album when I first hear it but the more I listen to it the more I like. I mean I never felt strongly about Insomnia when I first heard it and still to this day think it is definately their weakest.
What MAY have happened is that it appears stronger to me than it actually is because it came after the 'oh so disappointing Insomnia' haha like Obama coming after George Bush. I dunno... Glad you dig it Broke. Dope album.

I'm probably more the same way actually. I can usually tell right away what albums will keep me interested from the very beginning. Some albums I can tell that they will never grow on me, which thankfully is very few of them. A lot of them just grow on me after a few listens. I did get the 'new album' feeling with Insomnia for the first couple of weeks. I already knew it was a weak album, but not nearly as much as I realize it is now. I think everyone can agree that NWO blows Insomnia out of the water, though.

Yea same way here, I can usually tell right away if I'll like an album or not from the very first listen. If i don't like it, no matter how many times i listen to it, it won't grow on me. for example, taproot, I could never get into them, I forced my self to listen to their cd that it almost drove me nuts, the more i listened the more i disliked it, they sounded like very boring deftones wanna-be band, i ended up trading that cd for a vhs movie, lol. And yeah NWO does blow insomnia out the water, i give it a 4.

That's too bad, because Taproot is an incredible band. Nothing like Deftones... I won't like, their new album is probably their worst effort to date, but if you haven't heard Blue-Sky Research or Gift, then I suggest taking a listen.

| Taproot is definitely an acquired taste, I can see why some would not enjoy their music. I for one have always liked them (although their newest album was just terrible)...to me Welcome was their best effort @ LOZZ: Stay ready truly is a fantastic track, one of the best surprises on the album. Even Dirtball sounds really good, good enough for me to check out his own work | |

| yeah man! this is more like it. now if we could only get the more soulful Jah back. is he afraid of melodies now? oh well baby steps i guess. at least he's sticking to one topic per song now. needs a little work before ripping off RATM. maybe rant about REAL issues and hold rallies a protests and not sounding like an angry stoner on a soapbox with fucking ADHD. LOL-ski! | |
