BC talking about (hed)v1

The part regarding reforming (hed): Do you see yourself touring again in the future? You can't just leave something you love so much, right?
Interesting you might ask. I have a pretty good feeling that something is going to happen in the near future regarding all of the original members of (hed). (hed)p.e. is going strong these days with more of a "new world order" view in their lyrics. Therefore, I see something like a "(hed)v1" (version 1 - all original members) playing together soon. That way, (hed)p.e. can keep doing what they do, and the originals can go back to more of what we did in 2000. The bottom line is that I miss playing live. I miss collaborating with other great musicians to make something that moves people.

To be honest, I wouln't want them to play nu-metal again, I like their new sound much more and don't listen to the Jive albums apart from the self-titled.

Love 'em both, so it would be cool to see both versions of the band but I don't think it will happen though..

I do like still like the band the way they are now, but...old (hed)>new (hed). That's just a fact of life. They weren't any more of a nu-metal band then than they are now. They just had better riffs, catchier hooks, more creative lyrics, a more focused sound, and top-notch production values.

So truthfully, yeah, I would love to see this happen, especially since I never got to see the original line-up live. (hed)'s current live show is nothing to write home about (unless I'm writing in disappointment) so as far as I'm concerned, this would be a major improvement.

I do think this has a very slim chance of happening, however, given how extensively Jahred talked about wanting to leave the old days behind him.

Agreed. I did see them back in the days and their show was killer! Way way better than what new (hed) has pulled off yet.

it seems like jahred changes his mind quite rapidly, getting more "enlightened", so I still think there's a fair chance that this will happen.

i really think jaxon has better riffs than the old guitar players. at least he has more styles and willing to experiment than the old ones.

i also enjoy new (hed)'s lyrics better

I've never seen Hed live so I can't really argue about it.

Yet, when it comes to studio albums, I like the new ones much more due to their variety, there are many styles and even the way Jared sings is more varied, like someone here noticed.

Even if the quality is lower (which I don't really hear, I'm not very sensitive about it), I still like Truth Rising and Back 2 Base X more than Broke and much more than Blackout.

Lyrics could be more of the old style though, however Truth Rising is more universal, not purely NWO stuff, which is an improvement.

Broke is what got me into Hed, and it's still one of my favorite albums. I like the old and new line ups, so I'd be down to see a reunion tour with both of em, as long as there is no beef with the new guys

I also began with Broke, Killing Time and Bartender were the first Hed vids I've seen. It used to be my favorite for a very long time but then I switched to their Subnoize stuff and OIA. I might be because I like metal and rock music more than hiphop. And, like I said before, I like the variety of their new albums.

The first record I ever bought was OIA, i still listen to these newer records more because like dude, I also like the more metal/hardcore punk stuff. I remember I seen them on the tattoo of the earth concert in 2000, and I thought they weren't that good, but OIA came out and I was like wow, is this the same band?

I've heard through the grapevine that some members of the band would like to at least jam with Wes again. That's all I'll say about that for now.

Yeah, they wanna jam with Wes again. But, want nothing to do with BC, cuz I guess he isnt that good of a drummer, and trauma is hundred times better.
