I've been meaning to mention this dood for a while now just haven't got around to it.
I don't really know if this guy is hip hop because it gets quite heavy with its down tuned guitars but it's close enough.
He is a poetic and lyrical mastermind and anyone into (hed) pe should at least taste his music or have a look at his interviews...Very clever soul who grew up with the best of them eg. Dr. King.
It's quite unbelievable.
On his second album he collaborated with Trent Reznor of NIN.
He does a few collaborations with Zach De La Rocha of RATM as well.
This guy needs to be heard.
He doesn't sing about bitches and cars...no problem about that but it's getting a bit old.
He sings about mushrooms, the moon, higher consciousness and the oil hungry pigs in office.
