| well it's going to be the highest selling film of all time very very soon surpassing dark knight and titanic, so i'm interested on your perspective.
I for one enjoyed it for what it was - spectacular effects driven fantasy with a cliche ridden plot. It looked amazing in 3D (and boosted my confidence in the format) and also had a fairly important (if not well hidden) message regarding environmental respect.
Thoughts? | |

| i liked it a lot. I like movies, that take me places, and realy don't care if the plot is prdictable But, if i had to judge the idea and it's conveying through the movie, i'd have to say the first part was very strong, but the end battle ruined it. It started as a story with lots of questions, mystery even, and ended as a good vs bad battle. I hoped for something more interesting at the end. But it still was an awesome experience! | |

| I watched the movie in 3D and just loved the graphics. If I was the director I would have ended the movie with the assault of the natives home tree and their anguish. That would certainly shock most people and let the meaning of the movie truly sink in. | |

| Thought this film was amazing. It's a total visual powerhouse, and it doesn't pretend to be anything else. One of the few movies I've seen twice in the theater. - geduliss wrote:

Dude...that battle was incredibly awesome. Not sure what you think what would be "more interesting", but the movie definitely needed an explosive and exciting finale, and that's exactly what it had. Would you have rather had the Na'vi and marines work out their differences peacefully? Haha.

I thought the battle was awesome too, but more on the visual side It had nothing to give to the main idea of the film. I thought there was actualy a problem with the movie from like the middle - it started getting way too predictable... I'm all for blood and guts, don't get me wrong Just that the idea of the movie, and the first half of it raised a lot of expectations, and they were not met with the end battle But i'd still give the movie 9/10!!!
