Truth Rising - Reviews and thoughts

Whether you like the truth movement direction or not i think you'd have to say its pretty well played by the band. I thought NWO was a great concept album, it goes in one direction and i think its pretty well put toghheter. I like the whole "fight the power" feeling that goes along with it. I think its a positive message, although you cannot take it literally everything they say.

Oh and i actually like some of the samples haha. sorry! love the intro to nwo with the last line "new world orphans" and then it kicks into live or die free. And i like the alien sample in Stay ready

just hope the artwork will be good, but there was certainly some improvement on the last CD in comparison with NWO, so I'm rather positive about it.

Yeah I really dig the artwork as well. At first I didn't know what I thought about it, but it really grew on me. The phoenix looks really cool.

I hope we get some samples soon as I am curious what type of musical direction they took with this album. It is quote their "heaviest" album but every band tends to say that with every consecutive release. I just hope its like how Shake said, on par with NWO which I thought was a great album.

I must say that I am getting really excited about this album and I think the artwork is great. The main thing I'm looking forward to is the track with Lajon. Finally, (hed) does a collaboration with one of my favorite bands.

YES, no subnoize acts! well expect for the bonus disc, but hey I can deal with that. The artwork is awesome!! That is by far one of the coolest T shirts I have ever saw! I'm considering not telling my friends about the pre-order just so five people don't have the same shirt as me. lolol jk. My opinion on the intros/outro will have to wait till I actually listen to it. But I am always satisfied with (hed)'s music, cause there fuckin nuts!

Agreed with both of you guys. To be honest, I was less than super stoked, but after hearing the samples I cant wait. They sound fucking amazing. The ones that stood out were Truth Rising, It's All Over, This Fire, Forward Go, and No More Secrets.

Agreed. This record is going to be tits. Definitely the most "metal" oriented (hed) album off their catalog. Can't wait for this shit to drop fellas.

Aw man I knew this would happen. I just can't listen to the snippets. I didn't do it for NWO and I can't do it for this. I did it for Insomnia and that just ruined the surprise. I'm just gunna wait it out and listen to it in whole. Gunna be hard though with these sweet comments.
