The new drummer

Well as we've all seen in the Renegade making of video the new drummer is called "Chris".
But' we don't know anything more than that. Anyone got any info on him?

Remember in 2004 when (hed) recorded the OIA demos they had a drummer for a short period called "Christopher Hendrich"? And now there are several of these tracks apprearing as bonuses (girlfriend etc.) on NWO.

Reckon theres anychance that its the same bloke?

It would make sense the way you put it,
but it could very well be a new guy, and (hed) just decided to finally release some former OIA material...

I do wanna know how he sounds during a live set.

haha yeh dude I was just having a stab in the dark. If it was though then he would probably already know how to play alot of (hed)'s material.

Tiny left. To be fair as I said before as a session drummer this isn't much of a suprise.
Just like Devin he was probably only contracted to do some touring and an album.

I thought for sure it was. At 4:17 in the video it looks just like the guy.

He's not I messaged him on myspace.

About the Christopher Hendrich thing, that's a good thought lol
I do know he's in another band though, so i'm not sure if he'd drop that
I talked to him a while ago, he said he only did rough demos for like two or three songs

Whoever he is, you can guarantee that he will be gone within 6 months.

Why only six months?

They need to find someone thats committed. At least we never lost Jaxon. That would have sucked

My comment wasn't meant to be taken literally (well, it COULD be). It was just a jab at the fact that (hed) goes through drummers incredibly fast, and makes them seem like a more unstable band. Don't rule out the possibility that the new guy will be with the band for the duration of the NWO touring cycle, maybe record on the next album, and then will be outta there. I'm still pissed that Tiny is gone. I wasn't aware that he was only a session drummer. He was cool dude, a good drummer, and he took the time to interact with the fans of the band.

Ya I agree man. It's a shame, but Oh well.

Sometimes these things are unavoidable. At least some of the band has been consistent.

he's definitely one of my favorite members of the band

Me too. I thought Tiny himself said he would be in (hed) for a "long time". Bummer that he left.

But that was how it started, then he came on the forum and told us 'HEY GUYS I'M PERMENANT NOW'

So I almost don't think he was meant to be a session drummer.
But I guess it was, since he left. I dont know.

Tiny was awesome, REALLY awesome.
Chris is going to have a lot of impressing to do.

Don't forget - on the old board, Tiny posted how it came down between HED (his newer band) and TSOL (a band he's played in for years). He even said that TSOL, which is a punk band with a huge rep, had basically dropped everything until he could join up. He was totally honored, and he has a history with those guys too.

I thought he was rad as fuck, and I hate to see him go, but I'm happy that he's happy and I wish him the best of luck. It must've been a hard decision to make.

I just dont get it.

But, I too wish him the best of luck. Hope he has fun with his new experiences.
