You're insane. Ra is a fantastic band, one of the most original rock acts around today. Black Sun really impressed me. Much better than Duality, which is still a great album, and almost as good as From One. Sahaj is definately one of my favorite vocalists, too. That dude has some voice on him.

| Yeah Ra is most definitely the shit. Their older stuff is more hard, the "From One" album and their live album "Raw" are their best in my opinion. They just kick major ass, it's too bad they get over looked by the media. | |

But I shall take a second listen.

| No, they don't sound anything like those bands. Those bands also don't sound anything like each other. They're original in the sense that they combine a lot of different elements of rock from different eras into their music. You can here the Police, U2, and other 80's rock band infleunces in their songs. Yet most of their stuff has a good modern hard-rock edge to it, with other infleunces like Korn and Sevendust. Sahaj also sounds like no other vocalist out there. The things he can do with his voice are incredible. I think he actually holds one of the records for longest note held by a male performer. Listen to "Do You Call My Name" and "Skorn" from their first record, "Fallen Angels" and "Superman" from Duality, and see if you can check out "Waste of Space" from their new one. Hell, all of their shit is phenominal, but I think those songs stand out the most to me. | |

| Ra is one of my favorite rock bands right now...he has an amazing voice. To me they are more original than any rock band of it's kind (they blow Breaking Benjamin out of the water IMO).
Sinistar listen to the track "Sky" you will probably like that song, and then just go from there.
