Haha, keep finding these little influences. I reckon this is the thirtieth one I've found over the past half decade which makes me wonder how much of heds musical work is truly original...

Still, got to love them.

It's more homage than rip off in my mind but sometimes there is a blurry line between these two terms.

Oh this version is really better Very Happy

Also, I remember one time you shared the sample of Murder from the Ice Cube movie and long time after, I realized that the track himself sampled another track.
So maybe that one sample another one who know.

I wonder what's the HED PE album that sample the most from your research yet?

I think Insomnia is the one that has the most samples so far...Can't be sure though...It's scattered all over the place. They were sampling way back when with Church of Realities. I think they used some samples from Mortal Kombat for that one.

One of my favourite references is the riff in I.F.O. It's taken directly from Steven Spielberg's movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind when the U.F.O's are trying to communicate with the humans through musical tones. Some of the samples or references or homages are so subtle as to almost be unnoticeable. Magic.

The Beat are one of my favourite bands and I still can't tell what Hed song references it?

Not too surprised if the Beat did influence them though. Obvious 2Tone influence with the melodica riff in Flesh and Blood being Ghost Town by the Specials and I've always thought the bass line in Tired of Sleep sounded like the intro to Night Boat to Cairo.
