Damn, I haven't logged on here in a while, sucks to see that this forum isn't very active right now.
Anyway, after hearing that (hed)p.e. was FINALLY coming to my hometown of Richmond, I decided to go.
The first act of the night was a local rapper named Dead Mike, a fair opener I guess, wasn't terrible.
The second act was a local metal band called Curb The Enemy, who were just horrible.
The third act was another band from Virginia called GI9, who I actually saw open for (hed) in Springfield a few years ago. Anyway, pretty good, they were better than the last time I saw them. During their performance, I went outside for a smoke and I saw Jahred's wife and their son walk into the venue, after I walked back in, I got to meet her.
The fourth act was a metalcore band from Wyoming called Righteous Vendetta, they actually put on a good show, lot of energy.
and of course next was the headliner, (hed)p.e., their setlist was decent, better than the one they had the last time I saw them, and of course there was no DJ Product, but (hed) showed that they could put on a good show without him. Jahred's singing was actually very good throughout the performance, and his son was with them on stage during the entire performance. He also mentioned that the new album will be out in "90 days".
Anyway, can't remember the particular order, but here is the setlist:
Bloodfire
Let's Ride
Killing Time
Blackout(only the first 10 seconds)
Get Up, Stand Up
Sophia
Whitehouse
Game Over
Firsty(with Jaxon doing the scratching in the bridge on his guitar)
They played some sort of soulful rock song and Jahred's singing was incredible, I think it was a new song
Raise Hell
Bartender
Nowhere To Go (I think this was another new song, it was a very good reggae song, Jahred even played on a bongo drum during it)
Peer Pressure(twice)
Renegade
The Meadow(a more reggae version)
after which Jahred did a political rant and ended with NOC(but started at the part when he says "I woke up in a nightmare..."
After the show, I talked to Jahred for minute after he walked off stage then left. Anyway, a fun show even though there were not alot of people there and was glad to see that they performed something from every album.
