Ascension coming out in 2013(!), more heavy metal/hardcore punk, prolly reggae drops as well..
And there's this funny part where Jahred answers fan questions..

It sounds like another Truth Rising is on its way...lame.

I want something really different from (hed) pe this time. I don't care if it's a jazz record. I just want something very, very different because if they re-hash another album in a similar vein it's going to get old very, very fast.

I hate how he says 'my music'...What about the other dudes?

I like the back stage questions. Fans always have better questions than the official ones.

Damn, I hope they're releasing some material before 2013.

They're taking 3 years for making it, I'm sure it'll be a good record

This. I've always hated how he's so possessive and acts like he's the only one involved in making (hed)'s music. If I were any of the other band members, I'd be annoyed and would feel unappreciated.

Anyways I feel bad for the interviewer lol he was so stoked and trying to be cheery and Jahred seems so unenthused haha.

Exactly lol. I thought that was the plan for years that it would lead to an album in 2012.

Could just be a rumor but I heard Ascension would be their last album as a band... Anyone else heard this? I saw it a while back on Mawks facebook page but no one would respond about it. I asked Jah on the official Hed PE facebook page and he deleted the comment.

Wouldn't doubt it, sad really. I love hed but I always knew they wouldn't stay together much longer.

yeah would fit with the title of the album as well. Hope not! Or atleast hope they start something new and awesome instead then!

hed pe might be over, but jah and the other guys will continue to make music, no doubt about that!

Jaxon has been doing lots of stuff. And Jahred has expressed that he wants to start a reggae band so maybe there is some truth to the rumour? I don't know, I'd like to hear more from Hed just no more politics unless it's going to be truthful. I can't deal with the blind allegiance to Obama. I think that Unite is some of the best work Jah has done since Back 2 Base X, honestly.
