"our boy twitch" really didn't say much at all.

about the jahred / trent reznor comparison -> for me it feels like jah "took ownership" of the band after blackout. so when oia was out, (hed) was a jahred project.

i don't know how living arrangements for the band are now, but i don't think they really live that close anymore. guess this would result in the members "completing" tracks more before sharing them with their band mates instead of just throwing out an idea or a riff at a practice. if you've practically made the whole song before sharing, i'm sure you'll have more of an ownership of the song than if it was a joint effort. it's like "jaxon came up with this great riff, and then I made the song"

when reading or listening to interviews with wes, he is the same way as jahred. "when I wrote...."

just speculating here, but i don't think (hed) have that many more years left in them, and maybe jahred is thinking ahead, trying to build himself a name and get a decent solo career before there's no more (hed). jaxon and trauma are still young, so they are fine, but i don't know what product and mawk can live off of after the band is gone? think mawk maybe did something with computers, but don't know about product. maybe something with the church stuff he's been a part of. anyways, they've got to get out before they're too old to be hired anywhere.

sorry for all the gibberish. anyways, excited about the track!

I think 1 of them, out of Jaxon, Mawk, and Trauma is going to college, I'd say Jaxon but I'm not completely sure. I seen 1 of em talking about their class at a college on facebook.

Bought the track. Regretting it.

The verses are too short. Jahred's flow was awful. His "story" was forced and it's nothing that we have not heard before. The chorus after hearing it seven times in one song already annoyed me (when I first heard it in the snippet I actually liked it)...he overused the samples too.

Hope this is not an indication of what the rest of his EP will sound like. Because it was not good.

It was an ok song. Could of did way better with it, lyrically, that song was shitty. He actually fell of beat too. I hope the Unite EP is better!

not really exciting musically.
hopefully this track was released separately because it didn't fit with the rest of the unite material

Why does he have to re-hash samples? I see that as very unprofessional and lazy.

I like how he tells a story in the verses....yeah I actually dig the writing.

Be easy to find the chorus painfully annoying after a few listens though.

6/10.

The writing is alright, yes. But the way he carried it out, as in, his flow was fucking awful. It was hard to listen to. I do like the story-telling aspect though.
