N.W.O. or Truth Rising.

Just curious...because it seems like most dug Truth Rising significantly more than its predecessor.

I've had time to let it all sink and let the novelty wear off and I have to say that I dig N.W.O. quite a bit more than Truth Rising.

Bloodfire, Stay Ready, Stepping Stone, Everything All the Time, Renegade, Planet X, Self Aware, Girlfriend, Bucky Lasek. Most of the album is so awesome and varied and unexpected.

I really do love it.

And this is coming from a fan who began with Broke.

For me definitely Truth Rising!
When they released N.W.O i didn"t like it, but after some time, it just growth to me (there are some great songs on it; like hed_2012 said)...although not as much as the Truth Rising.
I just love this album!!!

ummm yeah tough one. i know another friends of mine preffered NWO too for about the same reasons. Id have to say right now atleast truth rising. im listening to that alot more. its just so fucking hard. and its real consistent. except for the rap tracks which i really think they couldve cut from this album.

When NWO was released I was amazed and loved it, I still think there are some great songs on it but I got a bit bored of it.

On the other hand, before Truth Rising was out I was quite fed up with the whole truth movement and Jahred's rants so I had very low expectations. However, I was surprised how good the album is, I've been listening to it non stop for a long time and I'm not bored yet.

So I must say I prefer Truth Rising. It's more energetic and the style is more consistent, the tracks suit each other while NWO is a bit of a mess in terms of style and because of the intros.

Yeah fair call. Solid material on both albums that's for sure.

Tough one, I guess I would say it's a stalemate.. Both records have their moments, good and bad songs. But I´d have to confess that I digged Truth Rising instantly, while NWO took some time to actually grow on me

I KIND OF agree with hed2012. NWO has a lot more songs that I really like than Truth Rising...but the songs that I like on Truth Rising, I like a whole lot more. Its a tough decision.

I remember listening to NWO a lot longer before I gave it a break as opposed to Truth Rising though.

i like n.w.o. better, considere it hed's masterpiece. i liked truth rising a lot too, but n.w.o. is my fav hed cd

It is a masterpiece and i guess their best selling indepedent album. and renegade was a hit so thats cool

NWO could be considered their best selling due to the fact that it was released in multiple versions. I'll agree with what some others said, it took a little while for NWO to grow on me, where I liked Truth Rising right away. There are good songs and bad songs on both.
